Nancy has over 40 years experience in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy,
personal growth and development, stress management, and holistic health.
Nancy is a graduate of a four year psychotherapy training program at the Gestalt Institute
of Cleveland. She also completed an intensive training program with Violet Oaklander in
Gestalt Therapy approach with children and adolescents. Nancy's therapy emphasizes
emotional expression and in-depth growth over intellectual analysis. She sees each person
as a unique individual to be heard, understood, and appreciated.
Nancy Milam is a licensed clinical psychologist and has been
working as a psychotherapist with children, adolescents,
adults, couples, and families since 1982. She completed her
doctorate at Wright State University School of Professional
Psychology and her predoctoral and post-doctoral internship
at the Ohio State University. She has worked in a variety of
settings including independent practice, substance abuse
treatment, sexual abuse treatment, college counseling centers,
and public and private schools. She is an adjunct faculty at
Sinclair Community College and the McGregor School of
Antioch University.
